Play on the Advanced Server for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Mobile Legends is always releasing new features. If you want to discover updates before they are released on the official game, then you are in luck! Advanced Server is an exclusive server that allows you to test new heroes, buffs/nerfs, and new game modes. You can access the server every Thursday using the official app if you meet the requirements. You can also access the Advanced Server using the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Beta app. Read on to learn how!

Accessing Advanced Server on Mobile Legends

You can access the Advanced Server every Thursday in the Account menu in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang official app. Tap Switch Server to switch. You can also download the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Beta app from the TapTap mobile store.

Advanced Server Requirements

There are several requirements to play on the Advanced Server. Furthermore, if you go inactive and do not log in for a long time, you will lose your access. The requirements are as follows:^{[1]

- You must live in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.)
- You must be at level 15 or higher.
- You must have a low-latency internet connection of less than 100 ms.

Accessing the Advanced Server

Open Mobile Legends and tap your profile icon. It’s in the upper-right corner of the title screen. This opens your profile page.

Tap Account. It’s the last option at the bottom of the page on the left.

Make sure your account is linked. This will increase your chances of getting access to the advanced servers. If your account isn't linked, tap one of the options to link your account to Facebook, Google, or TikTok, then sign in to your account.

Tap Switch Server. It’s one of the buttons on the right side. This displays a list of servers you can switch to. If you have access to the Advanced Server, you’ll see it listed here.
- You can tap Advanced Server at the bottom of the buttons to view the requirements for the advanced server. It also explains that the advanced server is open on Thursday for about 40,000 players.
- If the “Switch Server” button isn’t available, then the advanced server is not available to you.

Select the Advanced Server and tap Switch Server. This will switch you over to the advanced server. You can enjoy playing on the advanced server for a day.^{[2]

Using Mobile Legends Beta

Download the TapTap mobile store. You can download it as an APK file from www.taptap.io. You will need to use the APK file to sideload the app. After you download the APK file, tap Open, then tap Install.^{[3]

- You may receive a warning that the app is from an unknown source and may contain viruses or malware. It is safe to download.

Open the TapTap app and register for an account. You can register using your Google or Facebook account, or your email account.

Download Mobile Legends Bang Bang Beta. Search "Mobile Legends Bang Bang Beta" on TapTap. Tap Download on the MLBB Beta page and tap Install. This will download an APK file for the Beta version of MLBB. You will need to sideload that app as well.^{[4]

What is the Advanced Server?

The advanced server is where content is tested before it is released. You can test out exclusive content, such as new heroes, skins, events, and features, before they are released on the official server. You earn a unique currency called “Vanguard Coins” on the advanced server, which can be exchanged for Diamonds. However, you cannot recharge or connect your account.^{[5]

Can I use my normal account on MLBB Beta? No, you have to create a new account when you start a new game with the Beta app. You cannot log in to the Beta account with your regular MLBB account.

Can I keep the official MLBB app with Beta? Yes, you can have both apps installed at the same time. The MLBB official app and MLBB Beta app are two separate apps.

Can I access the advanced server with a VPN? Maybe. If you don’t live in the Southeast Asia region, you may be able to spoof your location with a VPN. However, this may increase your lag. Remember, you need to have a latency of less than 100 ms.

Can I keep items I earn on the advanced server? No, heroes, skins, and other in-game items you earn on the advanced server cannot be transferred to your regular account.

Why can’t I access the advanced server when I meet the requirements? They only allow 40,000 users to access the advanced server at one time. If you can’t get in with the requirements, it’s probably because they have already met their quota. You’ll have to try again next week.
