Did you send or receive a Cash App payment by mistake? Since Cash App payments are instant, you can't usually cancel them once they've been sent. However, there are ways to return the money to its proper place. If you're a recipient, you can easily refund the payment to the sender in a few steps. If you're a sender, you'll need to check your activity feed for a cancel option. If there is no option, you'll have to request a refund from the recipient or dispute the charge. This wikiHow will show you how to cancel Cash App payments on your mobile device.

• If you're a sender, instant payments usually can't be canceled.
• If you're a recipient, you can refund the payment in the Activity Tab.

   Select the payment you want to cancel. You will be able to see the sender, the amount, and the time of payment.

   • This will pull up a new window with more information.

   Contact the merchant. Before disputing any charges, contact the merchant/recipient to resolve the issue. If they do not respond or if you are unable to come to an agreement, you can move to the next step to contact Cash App.
