Are you having trouble cancelling your Discord Nitro membership? Discord Nitro subscriptions must be cancelled in the same way they began. If you paid for Nitro using Apple's App Store or Google Play Store, you'll need to cancel your subscription with the mobile app. Otherwise, you'll need to use Discord's desktop client to fully end Nitro. If you used a Nitro free trial, be sure to cancel before it auto-renews to avoid being charged. This wikiHow will show you how to cancel Discord Nitro using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

Things You Should Know

• On desktop, click the cog icon. Click "Subscriptions" → "Cancel" → "Continue". Nitro will be cancelled, and perks will stop at the end of your billing cycle.
• On mobile, tap "☰" or swipe right to open the menu. Tap your profile picture → "Manage Nitro" → "Cancel" → "Continue".
• Discord offers regular Nitro and Nitro Basic. If desired, click "Switch Plans" and select a different plan instead.

Using Desktop

   Launch the Discord desktop app. Discord is available to download on Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you aren't already logged in, enter your email address and password to do so now.

   • You can also use Discord in a desktop browser at https://discord.com/.
   • Use this method only if you signed up for Nitro using the desktop app. If you have a Nitro free trial, be sure to cancel it before the trial ends to avoid any fees, as it will auto-renew.

   Click the cog icon. You can find this at the bottom-left corner, next to your Discord ID.

   • The User Settings page will open.

   Click Subscriptions. This will be underneath the Billing Settings header.

   Click Cancel. You can find this in the colored Nitro banner, next to Switch Plans.

   • A pop-up window will open.

   Click Continue. You may need to scroll to find this button.

   • Discord Nitro will be cancelled.
   • At the end of your billing period, you'll lose access to perks such as higher screen share quality when streaming movies or sharing gameplay with friends, larger upload sizes, and more. However, you can resubscribe to Nitro at any time.

   Open the Discord app. This looks like Discord's mascot, Wumpus, with a blue-purple background. Discord is available for iOS and Android.
