Google offers a dark theme feature for its note-taking app, Google Keep, on Android. Using the dark theme can be extremely helpful at night to prevent eyestrain. It also helps you to save your mobile phone's battery life. This wikiHow article will teach you how to enable the dark theme on Google Keep on Android.
Steps
-
1Launch the Google Keep app on your Android device. It's a round icon with a white bulb on a yellow background. Make sure that your app is up to date. If it's not, update it from the Google Play Store.
-
2Tap on the ≡ button in the top-left corner. When you tap on it, a menu panel will appear on your screen.Advertisement
-
3Tap on Settings. It will be the second-last option in the menu panel.
-
4Tap on Theme under the “Display options” title. A pop-up box will appear on your screen once you tap it.
-
5Choose Dark. This is the second option in the list.
- If your system has dark mode enabled, you can also choose the “System default” option. This lets Google Keep follow your system theme.
-
6Finished. The dark theme will replace the white background of your app with a dark grey colour. That's it!
