Martin Short has never publicly announced his sexual orientation. However, he has only ever been romantically linked to women, including his wife, Nancy Dolman, to whom he was married from 1980 until her death in 2010.
According to his 2014 memoir, I Must Say: My Life as a Humble Comedy Legend, he and Dolman were incredibly devoted to one another, so many fans aren't surprised that he hasn't entered into any serious relationships since her death. His whole persona, but this could just be his incredible acting style. He may have fooled as all!
