Diamonds are the main currency in 99 Nights in the Forest. They can be used to purchase Classes, as well as to buy or roll talents on those Classes. But how exactly do you get Diamonds? While Diamonds can be purchased for Robux, there's also a number of ways to get Diamonds for free. In this article, we'll go over all the ways you can get Diamonds in 99 Nights in the Forest, including ways to get them for free.

Ways to Get Diamonds

  • Opening a Common, Good, Iron, Legendary, Gold, Cold, or Ice Chest will get you 1 Diamond, while a Diamond Chest from the Cultist Stronghold will get you 5.
  • Surviving through Day 50 and Day 99 will get you 5 Diamonds in total.
  • Over 100 Diamonds can be obtained by completing badges.
  • Enter developer codes to get free Diamonds.
  • Exchange Halloween Candies for Diamonds in the Currency Shop. You can also purchase Diamonds for Robux in the shop.
  1. You'll get a Diamond whenever you open Common, Good, Iron, Legendary, Gold, Cold, or Ice Chests.
    • These chests are found all around the map, and they contain other helpful items such as fuel, bandages, medkits, weapons, armor, and more.[1]
    • The higher your Campfire level, the better chests you'll find. For example, Common Chests are typically found with a level 2 Campfire, and Legendary Chests are found once you get a level 5 Campfire.[2]
    • Cold Chests are found in the Snow Biome. You'll be able to find an Ice Chest in the Polar Bear Caves and the Ice Temple.

Cultist Stronghold

  1. When you clear the Cultist Stronghold, you'll get a Diamond Chest that has five Diamonds inside of it. The Cultist Stronghold can be cleared multiple times, but each time you beat it, it will get harder. You'll get a Diamond Chest each time you clear the Stronghold.[3]
    • The Stronghold is very difficult to clear, so only tackle it once you have some good gear.
    • The Cultist Stronghold has four levels. Each time you clear the Stronghold, the level will go up by one.
    • You can clear the Stronghold every 20 real-world minutes.
    • The Stronghold has three floors inside. All of the enemies must be defeated before you can access the prize room.
  1. Badges are achievements you can unlock by completing various tasks. There are currently 126 Diamonds that can be obtained by completing badges.[5]
    • Badges are awarded for various things, such as surviving a certain amount of nights, defending your campsite, upgrading your Campfire, and more.[6]
    • There are also event badges that give Diamonds as rewards, but these badges can no longer be completed. However, watch out for future events, as these events may have badges for you to earn and get Diamonds from.
  1. To see the list of active codes, check the 99 Nights in the Forest wiki. Codes can be entered by clicking on the Currency Shop and selecting the Codes button in the bottom-right corner.[7] [8]
    • The code "afterparty" grants 15 Diamonds and can be used more than once.
    • The code "yay fishing" will give 2 Diamonds, but you must say it in the in-game chat while holding a fishing rod and while in the fishing minigame. This code only works once.
    • If you see a creator or someone else online promising that they have a code for free Diamonds but it isn't on the wiki's Codes page, it won't actually work.
