   Go to Santalune City (it is one of the very first places you visit).

   Go to the Pokémon Center and buy some Poké Balls at the Poké Mart area. Make sure you have enough Pokédollars. If you don't, sell some of the items you have that you don't intend to use.

   Once you have some Poké Balls, go to Santalune Forest (The forest between Routes 2 and 3).

   Look through the tall grass. It is rare, but it may seem easy for some. If you're lucky, you could find the cute little Pokémon mascot Pikachu!

• Although it's a very rare chance, the Pikachu may end up holding a Light Ball, which doubles Pikachu's attack and special attack stats.

• If you have a Pokémon with the Pickup ability in your party, you may be able to pick up Poké Balls, or items that you can sell at the Poké Mart. Zigzagoon and Bunnelby are available to catch in Route 2 if you want a Pokémon with Pickup.
