Do you want to activate your device using Hulu.com? If you're using a Smart TV or streaming device like Roku or FireStick, you can choose to log into your device using a computer or mobile browser. Here's how to activate your device using the Hulu website.

Quick Steps

On your device, select Log In.
Select Activate on a computer.
Go to http://www.hulu.com/activate in a browser.
Enter your account information.
Enter the Activation Code.

If you're setting up Hulu on a new device, you'll need to activate it at Hulu.com. First, open the Hulu app on the device you want to activate.

Select Log In. This is on the Welcome screen.
- You can skip this step if you've already logged in.

You'll see an Activation Code on the next screen. To finish activating your device, you'll need to use your web browser.
On a web browser, go to http://www.hulu.com/activate. You can use a desktop or mobile browser to activate a Hulu device.
If you aren't already logged in, enter your email address and password to do so now.

Enter the activation code. This is the code on your TV. Once the activation code is accepted, you'll be logged in to Hulu on your device, and you can start streaming your favorite shows and movies.
- It can take up to 30 seconds to activate your device.

Go to https://secure.hulu.com/account in a web browser. If you want to deactivate a Hulu device, you can do so using a desktop or web mobile browser.
- If you aren't already logged in, enter your email address and password to do so now.
- There is no limit to the number of devices you can install the Hulu app on. However, you can only stream Hulu on two screens at the same time.^{[1]

Click Manage Devices. You can find this in the Your Account tile.
- A pop-up window will open with all devices linked to your account.

Click Remove next to the device. You should see the device type and date it was added to your account.
- The device will be signed out of your account.

If you can't log into Hulu.com, check that your email address and password are correct. If needed, you can reset your Hulu password.^{[2]

If Hulu.com is not accepting the activation code displayed on your device, you may be typing it incorrectly.
The activation code on your TV should work for 30 minutes. If it has been more than 30 minutes since the activation code appeared on the TV screen, you'll need to start the process over to get a new one.^{[3]

Try opening hulu.com/activate in an incognito or private browsing window. Your ad blocker or other privacy extensions may be preventing Hulu.com from activating your device. An easy way to test this is to open an incognito or private browsing window (you can do this on any device), go to hulu.com/activate, and try activating again.
- If activating the device works when you're in incognito mode, the issue is likely related to a web browser extension or a problem with saved cookies.

Restart your web browser. If the Hulu website isn't loading, you may need to close your browser and open it again.
- If the website still won't load, clear your browser's cache.
- If you still have trouble, use an alternative browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.

Check your subscription status. If you can log into the Hulu website but not any other devices, you may need to update your payment method or reactivate your subscription.
