Do you remember the popular StarCraft term "Zerg rush"?[1] In honor of the strategy game, Google created a web game where you need to destroy a swarm of O's from attacking the search results on the page. While this works best on desktop computers, you can still access this website on your mobile device (though it will be buggy). This wikiHow will show you how to play the Zerg Rush game on Google using your computer, iPhone, or Android.

Google Zerg Rush Game

To play the Google Zerg Rush Game, go to elgoog.im/zergrush/ in a web browser. Click Play the Easter Egg Now! in the center of the page. Click all the floating O's to destroy them before they swarm you.

    • Google removed the official easter egg found in the search results. In the past, you could type "zerg rush" into the Google search field and click I'm Feeling Lucky to start the Zerg Rush easter egg. However, you'll need to visit the restored experience hosted on this website.[2]

  3. O's will begin to swarm the page and attack the search results. It takes about 3 clicks on each O to destroy it.
    • Make sure to scroll down. The O's will come from all directions!
  4. The game will end when the O's have completely destroyed all the search results on the page. You'll see them form a "GG" (Good Game) in the center of the page. Currently, there's no way to win against the "Zergs", but you can see how many O's you destroyed in the Count box.
