How do I know if I have any open apps? How do I close them?

Press one of the three buttons at the bottom which will be on the left for Samsung, and right for other Android devices. This will bring up a screen showing your open apps, and you can press the X in the corner of each or [close all] to close them.

I click on one of the entries and it goes to the pch.com website. I cleared my cookies and caches, but it does the same thing. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. What can I do?
