    Your router may be too far away, to fix this issue move your Wii and router closer together. There may also be a chance your router doesn't have wireless capabilities. In order to fix this you must get a Nintendo USB WiFi adapter or get a new router.

    What's wrong with my Nintendo Wii if I can't play online games?

    Nintendo discontinued most online play on May 20, 2014. There are hacks though that do not require any modifications to your Wii console, but I do not recommend it since it could still mess up your console. Searches on YouTube could help, but most are outdated since the Wii Shop closed in January of 2019.
