  • Question
Why do you need to add an extra 2 feet of ribbon before you cut it?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
You need that extra ribbon to tie into a bow in back (about one foot for each side). It looks nicer and is easier to tie when the ribbon is longer.
  • Question
How do I tie the knot correctly?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Fold your piece of tulle in half, then place it at the back of your elastic with about 2 inches (give or take) and pull the tulle that is hanging at the bottom through the top section.
  • Question
Do I just need to cut the ends, or should I fold and sew them?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
I would recommend folding and sewing the ends.
  • Question
For the sewing method, do I need to cut the first fold that ends up at the bottom of the skirt?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
You can, it will make it look more flowy, but there's really not a need to if you don't want the extra hassle.
