Complete the Goblin King's quests. Rainbow Crystals can only be mined in the Goblin Cave, located in the Forgotten Kingdom. However, before you can mine in the Goblin Cave, you must unlock it. Break Basalt in the Goblin Cave until crystals spawn in each spot. According to Builderboy TV on YouTube, the best way to farm Rainbow Crystals involves setting up your Goblin Cave so all the ore spots are filled with crystals.

Mine the crystals until you see the loot. Don't hit the crystals once the loot shows up, as this will cause the loot to disappear. If the loot isn't a Rainbow Crystal, move on to the next crystal cluster.

Repeat until you get a Rainbow Crystal. If you leave a crystal before taking the loot, it will regenerate, and you can try mining it again. Keep mining the crystals in a rotation until you find a Rainbow Crystal, and repeat until you get all the Rainbow Crystals you want.
- Since Rainbow Crystals have a pretty low drop rate, you'll likely be searching for them for a while. However, since getting a Rainbow Crystal is RNG, there's no way to make it go any faster. This method just makes it easier to get into a mining loop to find Rainbow Crystal.
