Method 2
Method 2 of 2:

Using a Web Browser on a Computer

  1. Open https://mail.yahoo.com in a web browser. If you’re not already signed in to your account, enter your login information to do so now. This will bring you to your inbox.
  2. To force your inbox to refresh, you'll need to refresh the page in your browser. Click the curved arrow icon in the upper-left corner of your browser window to refresh. If new messages were delivered during this time, they'll appear at the top of your inbox.
    • If you don't see a curved arrow "refresh" icon, right-click a blank area of the page and select Refresh.
    • You can also refresh the page by pressing Ctrl + R (PC) or Cmd + R (Mac).

If you can't refresh your Yahoo inbox, it's usually due to a poor internet connection. If your Wi-Fi or mobile connection is fine, try clearing your web browser cache and cookies, then logging back in to Yahoo Mail.

If you're not receiving new emails, your Yahoo Mail storage might be full. If you're just missing certain emails, check your Spam folder, and make sure you don't have any special filters automatically redirecting new messages to different folders.
  • Question

If there's an "X" instead of an image in your browser, that image could not load. This could be due to a poor internet connection or a problem with cached files. Wait until your connection is better, or try clearing your cache to fix the problem.
