How to Reset Your Hisense Smart TV

A common troubleshooting step is to reset your TV to factory settings, but how do you do that on a Hisense TV? You can reset your TV with or without a remote across all models, including a Hisense Roku or Google TV. You'll also want to reset your TV to factory settings if you sell it or give it away.

Quickly Reset Your Hisense TV

You can easily reset a Hisense TV by holding down the "Exit" button on your remote for 20 seconds and selecting OK. To use the physical "Reset" button on the TV, press and hold it for about 15 seconds.

Press and hold the "Exit" button for 15 seconds. If you don't see an "Exit" button, use another method with your specified TV. This method will work with any Hisense TV that comes with a remote that has an "Exit" button.

- After you enter the code, your TV will restart and be like new when it turns back on.
- Resetting means deleting all personal data and accounts on the TV and uninstalling any downloaded apps.
