The Sandfish can be used for the Community Center in Stardew Valley. This can be caught only in the Desert, but there's a chance you'll find it at the Traveling Cart. Here's everything you need to know about finding a Sandfish in Stardew Valley.

Catching Sandfish in Stardew Valley

Sandfish can be caught in The Desert pond from 6 AM to 8 PM in all seasons. If you don't have the Bus Station unlocked, you may find Sandfish randomly in the Traveling Cart. Sandfish can be used for the Specialty Fish bundle.

   Sandfish can be found in the Desert, 6 AM to 8 PM, in all seasons. You can find a small pond located in front of the Skull Cavern's entrance. Fishing in this pond during the mentioned hours will let you reel in either a Sandfish or Scorpion Carp.

   • To unlock the Desert, you'll need to complete the Vault bundles in the Community Center. This repairs the Bus Station.
   • If you don't have the Desert unlocked, Sandfish may be found randomly in the Traveling Cart.

   Sandfish can be gifted to Penny as a loved gift. You can also gift Demetrius, Elliott, Leo, Linus, Pam, Sebastian, and Willy as a neutral gift.

   Use the Sandfish for the Speciality Fish Bundle. This bundle is located near the Fish Tank. Finishing this bundle awards you five (5) Dish O' The Sea.

   You can use Sandfish to make recipes. There are three cooking recipes total that can use Sandfish:

   • Maki Roll
   • Quality Fertilizer
   • Sashimi

   Use Sandfish to make a Fish Shirt. You can use the Sewing Machine in Emily's and Haley's house along with some Cloth.

   • Sandfish can also be used as a yellow dye.

   Sandfish can be placed in a Fish Pond. When the capacity is increased to 10, the primary output will be yellow Sandfish Roe with a small chance for Cactus Seeds.

   Sandfish is used in a few quests. These quests can be found at the "Help Wanted" board outside of Pierre's store or at the Special Orders board near the Lewis' house.
