Deactivate Your Instagram Account

To temporarily deactivate your Instagram account, go to Accounts CenterPersonal detailsAccount ownership and control. Select Deactivation or deletion and select your account. Enter your password, confirm your decision, and select Deactivate account. To reactivate it, just log in to your account again.

  1. You can find this in the top-right corner of your profile. Make sure you're logged into the correct Instagram account.[1]
