The profile views feature on TikTok is handy if you like to know who's looked at your profile, but you might want to disable it if you don't want others knowing that you viewed their page. Thankfully, disabling the profile views feature is easy, and there are a few ways you can do it. However, if you turn off profile views, you won't be able to see who has viewed your profile anymore, either. If you still want to disable profile views, however, keep reading—we go over three ways to turn this TikTok feature off.

3 Ways to Turn Off Profile Views on TikTok

Open your TikTok settings and go to Privacy > Profile views, then toggle off Profile view history.
Go to the Activity notifications part of your TikTok inbox and tap a profile view notification, then tap the gear icon and toggle off Profile view history.
Tap the profile views icon on your TikTok profile, then tap the gear icon and toggle off Profile view history.

To do this, open the app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, and then tap on the Profile button in the bottom-right corner of the page.
This will open a menu at the bottom of the screen with some options.

It's in the top section (with the "Account") header, and it has an icon of a lock.
It's near the bottom of the menu, and the option has an icon of two footprints.

To do this, open the app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, and tap the Inbox button at the bottom of the screen.
It's near the top of your inbox, and it has a pink icon of a bell.
You may have to scroll through your activity feed to find one of these notifications. This will take you to the Profile views page.
This will open a menu at the bottom of the screen.
Once profile view history is disabled, others won't be able to see if you viewed their profile, and you won't be able to see who has viewed your profile.^{[3]
