  • If you're using the mobile app, go to Settings > News Feed Preferences and select "Reconnect with people you unfollowed."
  • On a computer, click the three-dot menu next to "News Feed," select "Edit Preferences," and click "Reconnect with people you unfollowed."
  • If you don't see their name here, they may not be your friend on Facebook.

  4. A list of people whose posts you’ve hidden will appear.[1]
    • You will not see the profiles of people you’ve blocked or unfriended—just people on whose posts or profiles you’ve clicked "Unfollow."
  5. Their profile will be highlighted on this page to indicate that you've decided to follow them again, and their posts will start appearing in your news feed.
    • Your friend will not be notified that you’ve started following them.

  3. It's at the bottom of this menu.
  4. A list of people whose posts you’ve unfollowed will appear.
    • You will not see the profiles of people you’ve blocked or unfriended—just people on whom you’ve clicked "Unfollow."
    • Use the dropdown menu at the top left corner of the window to view groups or pages (for products, businesses, or celebrities) you’ve hidden.
  5. The word “Following” will appear beneath their photo. You will now see this person’s posts in your news feed.
    • Your friend will not be notified that you’ve started following them.
