Kik is a freeware messaging app for smartphones that allows users to create an account without an email address or phone number. You can use Kik to send messages, group chat, find groups, and live stream. If you are a fan of Kik, you may be wondering if it’s possible to use Kik on a computer. Note: Many users report they cannot currently log in to Kik on a computer due to a security check in the login process. This hasn’t always been an issue, and it may or may not be permanent. Can you use Kik on a computer?

- Go to www.bluestacks.com in a web browser.
- Click Download.

Open Bluestacks and click the Home button. It’s the icon that resembles a house in the menu bar to the right.

Open the Google Play Store. To do so, click the System Apps folder, then click the Google Play Store icon, which has an icon that resembles a colorful triangle.

Sign in to the Google Play Store. To do so, click Sign In in the middle of the screen, and log in with your Google username and password.

Search for the Kik app. Click the magnifying glass icon
in the menu bar, type kik, and press Enter to search for Kik.
It's the green button on the left-hand side. This will install the Kik Messenger app inside BlueStacks.
It’s a white icon that says “Kik” in green letters. To do so, you can either click the Kik icon on the BlueStacks home screen or click Open once Kik is done installing in the Google Play Store.

Click NOT NOW at the top-right of the "Find Your Friends" screen. You're skipping this step since you're using an emulator, not your phone. This is the step that would normally upload your phone contacts so you know which of your friends has Kik.

Download the Kik APK file. The latest version of Kik has a security feature that prevents you from logging in while using BlueStacks. You can try using an older version of Kik to see if this fixes the problem. However, this is not guaranteed to work. Use the following steps to download an APK file for an older version of Kik:
- Go to the download page for an older version of Kik.
- Scroll down and click Download at the bottom.
Once installed, you'll find BlueStacks in your Windows Start menu or the Applications folder on Mac. It has an icon that resembles a stack of books with different colors.
