Help i have brainrot
Well, I just have to say that: there is a difference between Having brainrot and Knowing brainrot. You say you don't spend much time online, and yeah that's fine. In my opinion, as long as you don't actually use brainrot words you should be fine.
It's like the difference between ... well this is going to be a TERRIBLE example, but
its like knowing what a donut is, and actually eating the donut. You can know what a donut is without eating it, so if you don't want to eat it, and you don't eat it, you should be fine.

Recs for fantasy books for teens?
I haven't seen Brandon Sanderson on anyone's lists yet which kinda surprises me.
He's a big YA fantasy author. He also has done a few books in the science fiction section.

Oh wait.
Brandon Sanderson's "Mistborn" is in the comment right above mine. LOL.

Anyways, Mistborn isn't his only book series. It's definitely probably the one to start out with, though.
Bit of a side note: make sure to get the first three books of the first trilogy. There are two different trilogys (trilogies?) of Mistborn, and the second one has some HUGE spoiliers for like all of his other books. 😬

If you don't want to get into a series his "the Emperor's Soul" and "Legion" are pretty good stand-alones as well.
