Best things to do when you're bored in class?

I try to do something useful to pass the time while staying on task and being considerate. I will sometimes make a study plan or go over some old notes. I try to remain engaged and if I am permitted to use my phone, I do some quizlets or other micro activities. I enjoy transforming idle periods into time where I quiz myself on General Knowledge or other precepts using a website called Quizard. When I can't do any of that, I listen and try to extract valuable information, jot down my questions, and move on. It makes the time fly and still satisfies the need for engaged time.
