My advice, simply be honest with her and never engage in "taking the bait". So her saying "Oh so you hate me?" or "So your father made you hate me" , your response shouldn't be necessarily a response. It should be only to get your point across, maybe even just don't talk to her. Send her a text message explaining why, or simply say. "I'm not coming down this summer" The way to beat a manipulator is to handle things maturely, because the reason why there manipulating you is because they believe that they can. I'm sorry this is happening to you, both of my parents are manipulative and I have to live with them so I can empathize with you.
