    Since Diamond is a melee boss, he can't hurt you if he can't get to you. So stay at range to avoid any damage from Diamond.
  2. Step 2 Venom or Magma Fruits easily defeat Diamond.
    Venom is ranged and puts a damage-over-time tick on the Boss, so he takes damage steadily and persistently.[1] Magma makes you immune to physical damage (unless you're below level 750) and creates a similar effect to Venom, leaving a damage-per-second tick on the Boss.[2]
    • The drop chance for his sword is pretty low, so you'll probably end up defeating this boss a few times before you get it. It's a longsword, even though Diamond looks like he's wielding a cutlass.
