I think it is a balance between first, giving him a clear role or purpose in your life, because they really love to show up if they know they're making a difference. This could be giving advice, building something, etc. Then second, making their life easier or inspiring them in some way, like grounding them, bringing light to their life, or inspiring them to show up as a better version of themselves.
