On every Twitch stream, there is an expandable Chat or Community tab that shows a list of Twitch users watching the stream. However, if you're logged out, the Twitch streamer will only see you as a number in their total view count.

   • The Community tab is separated into the following sections: Broadcaster, Moderators, Community VIPs, and Viewers.
   • Keep in mind that the list will prioritize active viewers and chatters in the community. If the streamer has a large audience, it will be difficult to see all viewers at once.
   • Anyone can see the list of users watching in the Community tab, not just the streamer.

   Open the Twitch app and navigate to the Twitch stream. If you don't want your username to appear in the viewer list, be sure to log out of your account first.

   • To log out, tap Profile in the bottom-right corner, and then select the cog icon in the top-left corner. Scroll all the way down, and select Log Out.

   • If you don't see it, tap the stream to bring up the player options.

   • If you view the stream on a computer, you can search for a specific user.

Tips to View Twitch Anonymously

   Log out of your Twitch account. This is the safest way to ensure no one knows what stream you are currently watching. While you'll still be included in the stream's overall view count, your username will not be included.

   Use incognito mode on your browser. If you don't want to log out of your account, you can try using incognito mode to browse and watch privately. Since no data is stored in incognito mode, you'll be logged out by default. Your stream history will also be private.

Just be sure to pick a username that has no relation to your "real" account and avoid adding any familiar profile pictures, banners, or bio descriptions.
