American Girl dolls were first released in 1986, but they experienced a true renaissance in the early 2000’s.[1] These iconic 18-inch dolls represented young girls from various ethnicities, backgrounds, and historical periods, making them an exciting and educational gift for any kid. Plus, a trip to the decked-out American Girl store, complete with its own restaurant and doll hair salon, was like stepping into a magical dream!

Next, you’d hit the washing station, where a blast of air came out of a “water faucet,” then you’d dress them up in a cute outfit. Finally, you’d create a literal birth certificate for them.     I remember that Furby was a big thing in the 2000’s, and it's coming back. I also remember Mattel’s My Scene dolls, which were sort of a mix between Barbie and Bratz in their style. And of course, Bratz dolls were also really big in the early 2000’s.
