Do you want to send an email to someone on Instagram? While most people don't list their email addresses in their bios, there are plenty of ways to track down the email addresses of an Instagram influencer, business, public figure, or even a regular user. You should only try to contact someone on Instagram for serious inquiries. This wikiHow article teaches you easy ways to find the email address for someone's Instagram account with expert tips from social media expert Candace Gasper.

Quickly Find an Email on IG

Check their profile on mobile to see if they have an email or contact button. You can also check whether they have a personal website, a Linktree, or a link in their bio with all their contact information. You can also Google their username or use an email scraper tool. If all else fails, DM them and ask.

These websites will usually be listed at the top of an influencer's profile and include links to all their other socials, as well as their contact information, such as an email address. Just look for a link in their bio you can click on or tap.

Check their stories and reels.

You may have to pay close attention to see if they post a link to their emails in a story or reel. It may take you a while to find something. Try checking their highlights, pinned posts, or playlists for posts containing their email.

Google their username.

It's often very easy to find people's email addresses by searching for them on Google. Try searching for the person or business's name and the words "email" or "contact" to see what comes up. You can also use Google to find phone numbers, addresses, and even their other social media profiles. Try searching “[Username] Email” or something similar. If you know their real name, you might have better luck searching “[first name] [last name] email” or something similar.
- If you're trying to reach an influencer and don't know their name, search for their Instagram username to see if their real name comes up. Then, you can search for their real name on Google.

There are many email finder tools on the internet that you can use. These tools will automatically search for a person’s personal information across various public platforms. Most of these are paid tools, but some offer a limited number of free searches. The following are some tools you can try and use:
- Spokeo: Spokeo is a reverse lookup/white pages tool you can use to look up contact information for a person. This is especially useful if you know the person’s real name.
- Hunter.io: This website is an email search tool. You can sign up for a free account and get a limited number of searches per month.
- IG Email Scrapper: This is a website that claims it can scrape emails from Instagram. It offers 5 credits for free. You’ll need to pay a monthly subscription for more credits.
- Influencer Club: Influencer Club is another website you can use to scrape emails from Instagram and other social media platforms. You can find some basic information by doing a basic search. You will need to pay to get an email.
- PhantomBuster: PhantomBuster is an email scraping tool that can scrap emails from Bios another other locations. You can sign up for free and get 10 minutes a day to use the tool.

Check other social media profiles.

They may have their email listed on other profiles. If you can find other social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, BlueSky, etc.) either on their personal website or through a good search, check their profiles on those platforms. They may have their email listed on other platforms:
- If an email is listed on a person’s personal Facebook profile or public page, you can usually find it in the “About” section under “Personal Details.”
- You may need to follow, friend, or connect with the user to view their personal details on other platforms.

Send them a private message.

If you can't find someone's email address, send them a direct message to ask! You can ask them to provide their email address, or you can tell them what you want to say in your message. Just tap the Message button near the top of the profile to start the conversation.
- If you're not connected on Instagram and can't tap the Message button on their profile, you'll need to add them first.
- Make sure you have a good reason for contacting them via email, especially if they are an influencer with a decent-sized following.

Sending an influencer a DM may not be very effective, since they may not check it often. However, many big influencers have management companies that may be able to help you get in touch with them. You can contact their management company for email information and any offers or collaboration ideas you have.
