There are subtle signs you can look for. Check his body language—is he sitting with his knees pointed toward you or is his body angled in your direction? Does he seem happy to be talking to you? If you walk away, does he make a point to come find you again? If the answer is yes to these questions, it could be a sign that he likes you.

If you’re looking for clues that a guy likes you while he’s talking to you, pay attention to his body language. If he’s making a lot of eye contact with you, facing his body toward you, leaning in closer when you’re speaking, smiling a lot, and finding excuses to casually touch you, these are all signs he’s attracted to you. An open posture with uncrossed arms and a relaxed energy is another positive sign.

Look out for mirroring as well. When someone unconsciously copies your body movements, it’s a common clue that they're into you. For example, if you’re talking near a wall and you lean against it, then he does the same thing right after, he would be mirroring you.

Verbal clues that a guy likes you include offering you lots of compliments, asking you thoughtful questions and follow-ups to keep the conversation going, and telling jokes or playfully teasing you.
