Plus, find out when the Killbind Emote was added to JJS
PDF download Download Article

In Roblox’s Jujutsu Shenanigans, Emotes can be a funny way to troll your opponents or just to show off some cool moves. And then there’s the Killbind Emote—it makes you explode, so it’s perfect if you want to reset, but in the most dramatic fashion possible. We’re breaking down how to get the Killbind Emote, plus explaining what it does and when it was added to the game, so let’s get started.

How to Get the Killbind Emote in JJS

Like most other Emotes in JJS, you can get the Killbind Emote from the Shop tab. But you can’t choose which Emote you get, so you have to keep buying random Emotes for $250 until you pull Killbind. Be patient, because this can take a while. You can also buy Emotes for 25 Robux, but they’re still random draws.

How do you get the Killbind Emote in JJS?

  1. Run around the map until you earn $250 by fighting other characters, then click on the Shop tab at the top of the map. You’ll see Emotes listed at the top of the Shop for $250 each. Click on that to buy an Emote. A message will appear at the top of the screen that says, “You purchased a new Emote!” with the name of the Emote you obtained in parentheses.[1]
    • Unfortunately, you can’t choose which Emote you’re buying. You just have to keep buying them until you get Killbind.
    • As of Update 1.70, there are 280 purchasable Emotes in JJS, so getting a specific one from the Shop (including Killbind) can take a while.
    • If you’re in a hurry, you can buy Emotes using 25 Robux, but you still can’t be sure which one you’ll get.[2]

What does the Killbind Emote do in JJS?

  1. To use the Killbind Emote, equip it in your Emote menu. When you pull up the menu and select “Killbind,” your player will explode into little bits that look like confetti, and your head will fly into the air. Your character will die (and you’ll lose a life), just like if you hit the reset button.[3]
    • Killbind is classified as a “Kill” Emote, which just means it kills you when you use it.[4]
    • According to this TikTok from @thehattedman, you can only use Killbind outside of combat, like a reset. This is likely to prevent players from blowing themselves up during a fight to keep the other player from scoring a kill.
