And lately, there’s been a lot of chatter that South Korean Adopt Me servers are especially fun to play on—the no-trade servers are a chill place to grow your pets, and some players report finding favorable deals on trading servers. We’re here to show you how to join a Korean Adopt Me server via VPN, from the server list, or by following players—plus, scams to avoid.

Download a secure VPN that will let you use a South Korean IP address. When you’re choosing a VPN, look for one that has been rated as trustworthy by third-party sources and customer reviews. Choose one that’s compatible with the device(s) you’re using (Windows, Mac, Android, and/or iOS). It’s also a good idea to find one that won’t slow down your computer too much, that works with Roblox, and that allows you to connect via South Korea. Follow your VPN provider’s instructions for connecting to a server. To set up a VPN, you'll typically need to open your VPN service's app, log in with your account, and select a server. Be sure to choose a South Korean server for your new IP address. The exact process for this will depend on the VPN you’re using.

Click Connect to go online to your VPN. When you click that, you’ll be connected to the internet with the Korean IP address provided by your VPN.

Log in to Roblox and join Adopt Me. Open your Roblox app, then navigate to the Adopt Me game page. When you join Adopt Me, Roblox will think you’re in South Korea, and you’re more likely to be routed to a South Korean server.
- Once you’re in the server, check the game chat, user names, and/or server messages—if you’re in a South Korean server, most of the writing should be in Korean.

Finding a Korean Server in the Server List

Try rejoining servers if you don’t want to use a VPN. Go to the Adopt Me game page and click on the tab that says “Servers.” Sort the servers by Number of Players (Descending). Look for full or almost-full servers, and keep rejoining them until you find a Korean one. (Keep in mind you may have to wait in a queue until there’s a free spot in the server.) Here are a few things to look for to try to identify Korean servers:
- The avatars are very pale. Look for servers where all (or most) of the avatars have paper-white, pale pink, or another very pale shade as their skin. According to players (like in this TikTok from @cvqq), these options are currently trending among South Korean players. Some players add that the avatars may feature exclusive or rare items.
- Pay attention to the time of day. You may have a harder time joining a Korean server if you’re playing when most people in South Korea are asleep. For instance, if it’s 12 p.m. CST (GMT-6) when you’re online, it’s 3 a.m. in Seoul, South Korea (GMT+0).
- The chat and usernames are in Korean. When you join a Korean server, you’ll probably be able to identify it once people start talking in the chat. If most of the messages are in Korean, congratulations—you found one!

Try joining a Korean player when they’re active on Roblox. Find a Korean influencer who livestreams their time on Adopt Me, or add Korean players to your friends list and “Follow” them so you can see when they’re online. When you notice that a Korean player is active, try to join the server they’re in, since it will probably be a Korean server.
- If the server is full, wait in the queue—if you’re patient, you’ll be able to join as soon as a spot opens.

- Only some Korean servers allow trading. Most are no-trade servers, which appeals to players who want a relaxed place to play and level up their pets.

Don’t put in your private information or change your Roblox email. Some unscrupulous content creators have shared false information about joining Korean servers in an attempt to steal information from players. Unfortunately, these types of scams are common—but you can stay safe by knowing what to watch for:
- Do not follow any links that ask you to input your Roblox username and password. These phishing sites may appear to be the Roblox homepage, but there is often a slight difference in the URL. Scammers can then steal your account information.
- Do not share your personal information with anyone. If someone says they’ll tell you how to join Korean Adopt Me servers in exchange for your full name, date of birth, or financial information, it’s almost certainly a scam.
- Do not change your Roblox email. Some creators claim that if you change your main Roblox email to an email address that they provide, it will give you access to Korean servers. This is likely a trick so they can gain control of your Roblox account.
