   An M shape in palmistry is made up of four distinct lines. Technically, there is no “M”—we just liken that shape to our understanding of it in our language. It’s really four different lines. They should all be examined individually and then considered overall, rather than reading it as a singular sign.

It forms the right outer line of the letter M if using your right hand and the left outer line if using your left hand.

It extends slightly downward and ends somewhere in the middle of your palm. Often, the head line starts near or joins the heart line.
