If you want to up your game in Jujutsu Shenanigans, learning the combo for World Cutting Slash (WCS) can make playing as Vessel even more fun. This attack can hurt multiple enemies at once and deal tons of damage, so it works great as a finisher. Keep reading to learn how to use this attack as Vessel as well as its variant used by the powerful Strongest of History character.

How to Do World Cutting Slash in JJS

To activate World Cutting Slash, play as Vessel. Activate your Ultimate when it's full, and use your Dismantle and Rush attacks at the same time. Immediately use your Open ability, and then activate your special. On PC, the key combo is 1 + 3 + 2 + R. The attack unleashes a horizontal blade that damages enemies.

   Activate your Awakening. You may also know it as your Ultimate. As you deal damage to other players, the Awakening bar listed above your moves will fill up. When it’s completely full, activate it to unlock your ultimate moveset.

   • PC: G
   • Mobile: tap the Awakening Bar
   • PlayStation: Right D-Pad
   • Xbox: Right D-Pad

   Use Dismantle and Rush at the same time. You can start the World Cutting Slash combo on the ground or after you jump in the air. Try to activate the abilities at the same time so Rush triggers during Dismantle’s starting animation. If you do it correctly, the chant “SCALE OF THE DRAGON” will appear above your character.

   • PC: 1 + 3
   • Mobile: Tap the Dismantle and Rush skillboxes
   • PlayStation: L1 + R2
   • Xbox: LB + RT

   Activate Open when you see a white aura around your character. After the chant appears, a white aura flashes on your character. Immediately start spamming Open to trigger the next part of the combo. The chant “RECOIL” will appear above your character.

   • PC: 2
   • Mobile: Tap the Open skillbox
   • PlayStation: L2
   • Xbox: LT

   Use your special after a second white aura appears. Once another white aura flashes around your character, trigger your special Cleave ability. Instead of the normal attack, your character will swipe their arm to the side and send a wave of 80 damage in whatever direction you’re facing. You’ll also gain a few frames of invincibility, or i-frames.

   • PC: R
   • Mobile: Star button
   • PlayStation: Left D-Pad
   • Xbox: Left D-Pad
   • World Cutting Slash does less damage when it hits multiple enemies.

How to Do World Cutting Slash as Strongest of History (Sukuna)

   Use your special 3 times and activate Strong Dismantle. The Strongest of History is an Overpowered character that is only available in specific game modes or private servers. When his Ultimate is full and active, chant his special incantations 3 times and use his Strong Dismantle attack to send a vertical blade that deals 150 damage in the direction you’re facing.

   • PC: R + R + R + 1
   • Mobile: Star + Star + Star + Strong Dismantle
   • PlayStation: Left D-Pad + Left D-Pad + Left D-Pad + L1
   • Xbox: Left D-Pad + Left D-Pad + Left D-Pad + LB

What happens if you use World Cutting Slash as a finisher?

   The other player gets cut in half by your attacks. While World Cutting Slash isn’t enough for a true one hit kill, it’s still powerful enough to finish off opponents. If their hitpoints drop to 0 from this attack, their character gets sliced in half and fall to the ground.

What is the World Cutting Slash based on?

   World Cutting Slash is based on an attack Sukuna used in Jujutsu Kaisen. Ryomen Sukuna is the series’ main antagonist and is considered one of the strongest sorcerers. In Chapter 236 of the manga, Sukuna reveals that he learned how to enhance his Dismantle ability to have a larger range and become more powerful. He calls this ability “slashes to cut the world.”

   • The Strongest of History is directly based on Sukuna, so he can easily use the ability.
   • Vessel is based on Yuji, and he has not been seen using the ability in the manga or anime. However, a lot of fans theorize that he has learned the ability by witnessing Sukuna do it in person.
